    This item: Capitol Albums Vol 1 by The Beatles Audio CD $ Only 1 left in stock - order soon. Ships from and sold by ferndalejazz. I have the remasters - stereo and mono boxes. Frankly, in many instances, I still prefer the Capitol versions as found on the Capitol Albums (volumes 1 and 2) box sets. I know this a 'sacrilege' to the /5().

    If you own it, don't throw it out! Update: In April of '06, "The Early Beatles" was released in both mono + stereo in Capitol's "The Capitol Albums, Vol.2". Again, the stereo version of "The Early Beatles" heard on this Red Robin - Beat edition sounds "warmer, more natural, and less digitised than the official Capitol CD stereo release".

    Mar 05,  · On second thought, I think I would keep the Vol. 2 box, whether it had the folds or not. I get the feeling these are about to very hard to find new. The versions of Beatles VI and Rubber Soul would have all of the correct US mono mixes, anyway. And the US mono "Michelle" is the only mono mix that is not on the mono CDs.
